Sugar Beets are a warm season crop that grow slowly and produce a very large and sugary taproot. Raw and Coated.

  • Plant in 55 degrees or higher
  • 4-8 lbs per acre (alone)
  • Depth to sow: 1/4-1/2"
  • Planting dates: March-July
  • Sugar content can be up to 18%
  • Foliage and roots are very nutritional
  • Sugar Beets like good soil with a limited amount of nitrogen to allow adequate root growth
  • Best products on sandy soils with high organic matter
