Swat fly repellent ointment for wounds and sores can be used on horses, ponies and dogs. Apply it to existing fly bites and sores to keep flies away while the skin heals. Ideal for use on ears and face. Swat ointment kills flies on contact and keeps them from messing with wounds while its healing properties help wounds heal faster.

How it Works

This product contains pyrethrins, which are part of an organic compound class typically sourced from Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium. By targeting the insect's nervous system, these ingredients boast powerful insecticidal action.

Special Precautions

  • Ideal for use near wounds, abrasions, sores and scratches
  • Repels house, face, stable and horn flies from sensitive areas, including wounds, the face or head, to promote proper healing
  • Formulated for use with ponies, horses and dogs ages 12 weeks and older
  • Made with the following ingredients: Di-n-propyl Isocinchomeronate, Piperonyl Butoxide and Pyrethrins
  • Includes 7 oz. of clear fly repellent ointment in a jar
  • Take care not to contaminate any sources of water when disposing of rinsate or equipment wash water.
  • Never apply in intertidal areas below the mean high mark, areas in which surface water exists, or directly into water.
  • Toxic to invertebrates, fish, and other aquatic organisms.
  • This product can cause aspiration pneumonia.
  • This product contains petroleum distillate.
  • Thoroughly wash hands using soap and water immediately following use.
  • Use sparingly near ears.
  • Never apply around mouth or eyes.
  • Not for use in foals or horses intended for food slaughter.
  • Any pesticide can cause sensitivity in animals. If you observe such a symptom, wash the application area using mild soap, then rinse with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, seek emergency veterinary attention.
  • During use, wear socks, shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. After handling, thoroughly wash hands using soap and water prior to using the bathroom, using tobacco, chewing gum, drinking, or eating.
  • Not for use in humans.
  • Keep out of reach of animals and children.
