Safestep Dual Blend 4300

Melt ice fast with a quality blend of sodium chloride and magnesium chloride in Safe Step® Dual Blend® 4300 and Dual Blend® 4300 Blue deicers. Formulated with corrosion inhibitors, these blends are gentler on concrete and metal surfaces when used as directed.

• Melts ice to -7°F | -21°C
• Available in 12 lb. jugs, 20, 40 and 50 lb. bags

Our strategy is to provide high quality products and brands that all consumers can trust and rely on.  We currently stock two products from Scotwood - Industrial Strength and Clean Melt. 

Industrial Strength  is a blend that contains Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Chloride pellets. These two ingredients make Industrial Strength a powerful ice melter, capable of melting ice and snow quickly. Very few blends use premium pellets. The pellet actually allows the product to melt faster, longer and at lower temperatures.

Clean Melt® is an eco-friendly ice melter. Blended with Magnesium Chloride and infused with Ice Ban, Clean Melt® is an innovative product that is safer for sidewalks and vegetation. This environmentally friendly option also features a green color indicator that allows for easier and fewer applications, while still boasting a melting point that rivals other blends, Clean Melt® has a lower chloride content.
